ABOUT

Farnham Common Village Hall is located on Victoria Street Farhnam Common, just a short walk from the main road and shops. There is limited off-street parking available onsite.

The Village Hall has three different sized rooms available for hire. The main hall has capacity for up to 130 seated. The small hall has capacity for up to 80 seated and the committee room has capacity for up to 15 seated.

The Village Hall was originally constructed as a reading room in 1889. The main hall was added in 1946 and further extensions were made in 1957. The Hall and its land is held in a charitable trust for the benefit of the local community and depends entirely on the income it generates from room bookings, charitable grants and any private donations. The trust sets out the Hall to be hired for meetings, lectures, classes, recreation and leisure activities to support residents of the local Parish and immediate area without distinction of political, religious or other opinions.

Trustee volunteers are responsible for decision about the day to day operation of the hall, investment and the future of the Hall.

The Farnham Common Village Hall is registered with the UK Charities Commission under licence 1163417.
